Elizabeth K Cassidy advises both municipal and private developer clients on a wide variety of land use, zoning and environmental regulatory issues and represents a broad range of clients before land use approval boards and the courts in civil litigation. Ms. Cassidy is currently the Village Attorney for the Village of Hillburn in Rockland County, New York.

Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Lafayette College in 2005 with a major in both Government and Law and Geology. While at Lafayette, Ms. Cassidy was elected to Phi Betta Kappa and graduated with Honors in Government and Law.

Elizabeth received her Juris Doctor degree in 2008 from Pace University School of Law with a certificate in Environmental Law. Ms. Cassidy was a Land Use Law Center Merit Scholar as well as a Senior Research Fellow. While at Pace, Ms. Cassidy served as a representative to the Student Bar Association, the student liaison to the curriculum committee and participated in the American Association for Justice Trial Advocacy Competition.

Elizabeth is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey as well as the Southern District of New York. She is currently serving as President-Elect to the Women’s Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties, a chapter of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York.

Ms. Cassidy lives in Warwick with her husband Jeremy. Ms. Cassidy is an Alumni Admissions Representative for Lafayette College to Warwick Valley Central, Cornwall, Monroe-Woodbury, and Goshen High Schools.
